Having used Earthwork 3D for over a year, I didn't expect to learn much
new this first day. I was wrong! I now have a much improved understanding
of the basic makeup of the software -- primarily with regard to the relationship
between various surfaces and layers. For instance, until this class, I had
no idea that a Hole in the Design Perimeter removed that area from the area
and volume calculations and also affected Stripping and other layers as
well. A final note: the venue here is fantastic. Thanks!" Marcus
